From time to time we exhibit our work at outdoor events. This means we can meet existing and new customers to discuss our work. The team is on hand to offer expert cleaning process advice and demonstrate the BEFORE and AFTER cleaning processes. It also gives customers who prefer not to send items via courier a chance to pick up and deliver work.

The next calendar event due to take place is Kempton Park auto jumble on Saturday 20th September.

Mean Old Timers Classic Car and Motorcycle Club Greenwich host “Park It In The Market” on the last Thursday evening of every month in Greenwich Market. A friendly event and plenty of cars and bikes to look at all in aid of Help for Heroes, we are there most months.

The month of August sees the launch of our up graded web site. Responding to customer feedback we have up dated the content to showcase our work, both the traditional and new. Recently we have branched out into some new areas of work. We really enjoy responding to our customers’ needs, especially when people drop by our workshop with an unusual job. The new look website introduces some new features and ‘ puts a face’ to all our team members.

Nuclear reactor

We have just completed our most unusual job yet by cleaning a number of nuclear reactor parts. After machining and engineering had taken place the very large items needed particular care and attention regarding their masking, plugging and handling. They quite simply had to be perfect first time.  We’re really happy with the results. Following a design specification we blasted to a fine micron finish in preparation for painting of outer surfaces whilst making sure not to profile any machined jointing faces.
